Challenging Minds

At Parkway Christian School, our Middle School program challenges students to think critically, communicate effectively, and pursue excellence in every subject. Using a blend of traditional instruction and differentiated learning, we strive to meet the unique academic needs of each student. Core coursework includes Bible, English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Students engage in hands-on learning, collaborative projects, discussions, labs, and real-world applications that encourage curiosity and deeper understanding. Every subject is taught through the lens of a biblical worldview while aligning with state and national academic standards.

Capturing Hearts

Our desire to capture students’ hearts begins with daily Bible classes, Scripture memory, weekly chapel, and intentional opportunities for discipleship. Middle school students participate in ministry groups, service initiatives such as Mission Mondays, and leadership opportunities within the school community. We remind students that “whatever you do, do all to the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31b), trusting that He equips us with strength and purpose (Philippians 2:13).
 

Cultivating Gifts

Middle school students are encouraged to discover and develop the gifts God has given them. In addition to core academics, students participate in electives such as physical education, art, music, technology, and other rotating enrichment courses. Each elective is taught with a biblical perspective, emphasizing that our talents are given by God for His glory and the good of others. Students also grow through extracurricular opportunities, leadership roles, athletics, fine arts programs, and clubs designed to help them explore interests and develop confidence.
