Welcome to Counselor's Corner!

I am so excited to be working with 7th -12th grade students and their families here at Parkway. My goal is to make both their time here and their transition into their future careers and endeavors as exciting and smooth as possible! As the Academic Advisor, I have a passion for seeking out students’ God-given gifts and talents and helping them to see where these fit into their future. In addition to this, I will also be overseeing their academic success by proctoring their state testing such as the PSAT10, SAT/ACT WorkKeys and AP tests, helping with college applications, Dual Enrollment, Michigan Virtual and career planning as well.
My heart is to help students navigate this time of transition and hard-work with a sense of purpose and courage. The way I will be communicating with students and families is through their grades’ Google Classroom. I will be posting resources under the Stream and Classwork tab within Google Classroom. Familiarize yourself with this tool as I will be posting resources for both students and parents as well as necessary forms and instructions. (I will also post resources here for parents who may not have access to their child's Google Classroom).
